 Scott has nursing experience for over 20 years of nursing experience including 16 years in the intensive care setting as well as cardiac and psych.  Scott has been a nurse practitioner since 2010 and worked 2 full-time jobs as a nurse practitioner and physical therapist for the past 11 years. A joke among many is that Scott is a "professional student", so it may not come as a surprise that he is currently pursuing a Culinary Arts degree at Walt Disney World Center for Culinary Arts at Valencia College as well as a pursuing functional medicine certification through the Institute of Functional Medicine. He has hopes of combining knowledge from both to actively treat and prevent illnesses as he has become very passionate about using "food as medicine".  Scott enjoys spending his free time with his wife and 4 children, fishing, bicycling, working out and going to the beach.

- Currently in Culinary School and studying Functional Medicine at the Instutite for Functional medicine.

 Courtney earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at University of Central Florida and after becoming a licensed Nurse Practitioner, she began practicing in the specialty of cardiology.  She has particular interest in the primary prevention of chronic illnesses and ailments, thus encouraging an approach that is more "proactive rather than reactive." Courtney is currently pursuing post-graduate certifications in both Cardiovascular Subspeciality and Clinical Lipidology. She enjoys time with family and friends, being outdoors, attending concerts, and reading.
